Reviews and Testimonials of Limbo Phantasm
- I just finished listening and need to tell you it's INCREDIBLE. Like I'm genuinely taken aback at how much this is resonating with me emotionally. On The New World the repetition of "there is weeping in the attic" genuinely sent chills up my spine. The storytelling you are able to conjure through sound and the progression of the album is beautiful. I mean this when I say this is one of the best albums I have listened to in a while. It's a beautiful, moving work. Listening to your album is the first time since [...] I've been able to feel any sort of comfort or understanding over the loss.
- Man. I gotta thank u again for rec'ing this. Ngl after November I've been in a very depressive state. It must be that seasonal. While listening, I was unboxing my Kamvas 13 drawing tablet that came in. The frequent text-to-speech segments really reminded me of Clk and Flight of the Navigator by Childish Gambino. Very lethargic and woozy feeling. Like I'm listening to the soundtrack to a post apocalyptic surrealist movie. Man it's so much influence I'm hearing.
- This is an absolutely brilliant and gorgeous instrumental hip hop album. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes atmospheric music. It has a really distinctly dense, bleak, and ethereal sound to it that I haven't heard from many other records like it. It also has an included storyline document along with the songs that's available with the bandcamp download, which I do think improves the album a lot.
- This album is bad ass, the production is so perfect. The concept tying into the album, and it really feels like the album knows the concept and stays with it. Extremely good Plunderphonics work here, the vocals sound fucking gas. I'm so glad I listened to this.
- Listened to [the] album and I liked it, I'll keep going back to it to see how it develops but I think everyone should listen to it.
Try it out for yourself!
